Jaycie's Teeth Cleaning Experience

When I was in school I had such a fun time cleaning my family's teeth! I had a lot of support from them and I hope they know how much I appreciate it! It was so much fun cleaning Colter and Jaycie's teeth. It's such a new experience for them so you really have to warm them up to everything. We played with all the water/suction and dental 'things' and Jaycie did great!

We blew up a glove and made a face out of it.

She didn't mind everything except polishing. She really didn't like the feel of buzzing in her mouth. But she LOVED when we turned her teeth pink cuz that's her favorite color! :)

Fun Lake Trip with the Girls

My mom took me and kylie and her cute kiddos to the lake back in September. It was lots of fun, and hilarious to see Jaycie wakeboard with her mom. She's only 2 and loved it! She says she wants to go back to the lake to go Wakey-boarding :) Krew and Jaycie rode on the tubes with Kylie and I, they did great even when grandma went a little fast! It was such a fun day.

Happy Jack for Labor Day

My parents rented a cabin in Happy Jack for us all to join them up there over Labor Day weekend. I'll tell you what, if was SO much fun. The weather was perfect, and the food was fantastic (as always with my family, nobody goes hungry!). We played games, went to Long Lake, went on a run and almost passed out, ate our brains out, pranked eachother with bairballs, and I even spotted an elk! It was a super fun weekend.

Ok, I know I'm the world's WORST blogger ever, I haven't updated for months! But I do kinda thing I have a good excuse for it: SCHOOL. The most FREEZING cold dune trip ever. This went down as the most miserable trip ever, yet the most memorable! We went with some friends of ours (Chris and Sara), and oh what a funny weekend, never go to the dunes in January!

For Max's birthday this year I wanted to do something but didn't know what. So I surprised him & went goofy golfing. As most of you know Max beats me at EVERYTHING, my competitiveness doesn't do well with this. However on this day, I kicked butt and beat him by like 5 points!

Christmas 2010

Christmas 2010 was so much fun! Max and I woke up early and opened our presents. Don't worry Dixi did too :) Here's a few our little family's second married Christmas! Max got a very manly and farm-man looking plaid Wrangler Jacket, & he looks manly in it! Love it!

Dixi got a massive, I guess you could say "life size" bone. The interesting thing is that the flavor was supposed to be peanut butter, but when she started chewing on it the smell was very similar to very rotten stinky feet . . . never buying peanut butter flavor again.

Let's see, Max got me a few fun things. Work-out clothes, ear phones, sewing box & some awesome sewing scissors (Gingher).

Max looks like one of those men on that game "Guess Who" and you ask 'Does your person have facial hair?' (yes lots) and 'Does your person wear glasses?' (also yes) haha

Our sad but full of holiday cheer Christmas Tree. It was so fun to decorate and have in our house. We actually weren't going to have one but Ty and Courtney had this extra one that we are borrowing, so thank you!

Silly Dixi

This was back in the Summer of 2010 when Dixi came inside rubbing her nose on things. Right then Max looked over at her & noticed her face totally swollen up like this:

She wasn't whining at all & didn't have any other symptoms so we just kept an eye on her & by the next morning it was all gone. But how hilarious does she look?! haha

We think she tried to eat a Bee & got stung or something.

In November we took a trip to California with the Klinglers. We had Max's parents watch Dixi, and of course the day we left she went into heat. How lovely. So we came home to this crazy girl wearing diaper and panties.

Oral Cancer Walk

Summer of 2010 my DH class all went to an Oral Cancer Walk that was put on by A.T. Still Dental School. It was such a nice day & fun to hang out with all these fun friends! They talked to us about oral cancer, then we walked a 3 mile loop.

Our wonderful friends Marcus and Cassidi Klingler took us to The Forgotten Carols for Christmas and it was amazing! I really loved it, not only because we got to go with some fabulous friends but the message was so uplifting. If you haven't seen it yet I would definitely recommend it! In the fall of 2010 Max had lots of fun playing on a flag football team with some football buddies from high school. They played Tuesday nights at Barney Sports Complex and were completely undefeated until the champion ship game! We had a lot of fun cheering them on in the stands. But they played so well & kicked some booty.

My wonderful sister-n-law Courtney saved me when I had a patient no-show at school. We are required to have someone in our chair to get credit for the day and she hurried in with cute Colter and save me! He did SO good, at first he was very hesitant and didn't want me to touch his mouth at all. But once we took 2 x-rays and pretended the film was like a 'cookie' he relaxed a bit. He did not want to let go of our monkey friend so thats how we got to get inside his mouth. We also had him chew disclosing tablets that turned his mouth pink. Colter does NOT like dirty things so I told him I would clean the bugs off his teeth and get the pink off. Courtney and I had fun bribing him and convincing him that I wouldn't hurt him :) haha what a fun day, thanks again Court!

Today (Wednesday) I went running and had Dixie on a leash, when I saw something in the middle of the road. And low and behold it was a snake! Thankfully I know a little about snakes thanks to my father-n-law (who is the snake king), and I noticed the rattle and the diamonds on his back. I knew to stay away cuz those will mess you up if you get bit. So I watched it while it slithered into some weeds next to our neighbors house. I called ASU housing . . . they don't do anything (neither does maintenance), so eventually a cop came and called someone to pick it up. This is the actual picture of it but it looks exactly like it . . . SCARY!!

ROOSEVELT LAKE!!! I love being at the lake I feel like I could stay there forever because its so relaxing! In July we went up with Marcus & Cassidy Klingler, then met up with my family on Friday. The whole weekend was a blast, not only because I had a week off of school, but because the water was GLASS and it was just a lot of fun. Here are some pix:

Double surfing . . . I jumped on his back thinking we would fall, and he totally held us up!

Ok I know this looks awfully weird, but I used to do this when I was little. You just strap on as many life-vests you can and you float really high! Try it next time, you'll see how much fun it is!

When the Klinglers were there with us there were black clouds surrounding us so we decided to get off the lake, right as we did sure enough is started raining. And within minutes it was totally poaring like crazy! We were trying to cook and everything was getting wet to we ended up inside the truck eating tacos, passing around all the food, it was so wild be such a memory!

We got a little bored and tried hitting this little flower on a cactus with rocks. We ended up doing this for like an hour and finally Max got it, what a day.

Over a month ago I turned 21 . . . finally!! :) Not really, its funny cuz 21 doesn't really mean much for the Mormon community, but I had a WONDERFUL day thanks to Maxi and our families!

Max took me to breakfast at Denny's where I got a FREE GRAND SLAM!!! Then we went bowling with a big group of friends, and ended the night with a delicious dinner at my most favorite delicious place Famous Daves. THANKS FOR THAT MOM & DAD!!

Last weekend Max and I thought we'd go up to the rim and camp out together! So we did and we brought along a dear friend of ours; Marley. He's such a loyal, smart, and awesome dog to Max. He's a long of fun and protected us out there!

This is really funny! We found some animals for Marley to chase and I caught a picture of him as he was running back towards us, did he have fun or what?! He's got a big huge grin on his face as he's hopping along through the forrest, haha.

These are two beautiful mustangs we found out there, they were afraid of us (probably because Marley thought he could take them down and was chasing them) but I got a few neat pictures of them. They're very pretty animals aren't they?

I LOVE surprises, they just make me happy! So I had to plan something fun to do for Max on his 22nd birthday and I totally surprised him!! This picture below is not the big surprise but I got him a case of Mountain Dew because he loves it. Not surprisingly all his sodas were gone within like a week! haha I love this boy:

This is the surprise. I called our friend to see if they'd wanna take us on a helicopter ride for Max's birthday, and they so willingly did!! I have never been in a helicopter before and it was so fun, very small but such an experience!!

Our first married easter was this year and it was awesome! We got up in the morning and went to Max's parent's house and had a $$$ Easter Egg Hunt. We all got some dollar bills and Hudson killed us when he found the $100 dollar bill, we were a little jealous I'll admit. Here's some pictures:

Ok now that we've had Dixie for 3 weeks now I've FINALLY put up a few pictures. I'll tell you what, she's so fun & cute & cuddly & we love her!! But then there's the bad stuff like pee and poop all the time that just seems to never stop. But how can you not love an adorable face like that! For those of you who don't know she's a mix between a beagle and english bull dog. We want to breed her when she gets old enough so she'll have beautiful babies!!! Enjoy :)

In January 2010 Max & I decided to take a drive in the cute VW up to Saguaro Lake. I packed a lunch & it was a beautiful day outside! We drove up to the last dock & had a picnic together with Marley & it was just perfect.

Camelback Hike:

We had a blast hiking camelback mountain! It was a long-fun hike that we want to do again. Shelby, Justin Baird, Hudson, and Max & I all went together & had so much fun. The hike was actually pretty intense, only Hudson & Max & I made it all the way to the top which is about 1.5 miles almost all completely uphill. We'd love to do it again so anyone who wants to do it let us know!

Winter 2010 SUNRISE Trip

Ok just after New Years we decided to go up to Sunrise and take a day snowboarding. Max got a new snowboard that had to be used soon! Mckenna, Courtney, and David met us up there and we had such a fun day. Although it was freezing cold and snowing the whole time, we managed to have fun and get home in one piece.

FIRST MARRIED CHRISTMAS!!! It was the best Christmas with my lover yet! We were very creative this year with what to get eachother because we're a poor married couple. It made it better though, Max got me a sweet helmet to go riding in, a NINTENDO 64 and we love it! We got sleeping bags, awesome shirts, bikes that are way cool, and some other fun things!

On Halloween weekend we were up in Springerville staying at a friend's cabin, when we came across our very first official pet. She is so soft and cute and we loved her! Atleast for a little bit.

We really didn't mind having Punkin around. It was fun to let her in the house every once in a while and watching her run around. Surprisingly she only pooped like 15 times inside, but outside she pooped like a MAINYACK!! The first week we had her we only had veggies to feed her, and she wasn't pooping very much at all. So we got her some rabbit food and came home to this mess! (above) She pooped and peed ALL over max's brown shoes inside & out. It was quite gross.

We had to put this white pipe against the wall there on our porch to block the holes so she couldn't escape!

Sad to say, we had to let her go at Max's house to run around with the other bunnies because she chewed up my computer cord, and pooped WAY too much. We'll always remember our precious little punkin'.

Halloween Weekend!!

Our first Halloween weekend as a married couple was FUN FUN! First we got invited to go to a barbecue/party with my work. When Max heard it was free ribs he was there in a heart beat! It was super fun with lots of decorations and food. This picture is from that night:

After that we left to drive to Springerville AZ to stay at Jesse's cabin with some couples. Since it was Halloween weekend we both got matching pumpkin shirts, unfortunately I was not in this picture. We forgot to take one of both of us :( But here's my model husband showing off his cute shirt.

Here's Jesse's amazing cabin! His parents basically live up there now and were SO good to all of us making food all the time, and letting us have a great time!

We got to go shooting and riding quite a bit up here too. Max green truck is awesome isn't it!

I was so cold I wore my snowboard jacket around up there.

We went to church with everyone and got all dressed up for it. As you can see Max is sporting the old-fashioned collared vest, which he wore proudly.

Since Max first got home from his mission we've really enjoyed going out to his parent's place out in Florence. Now that we're married we've gone even more to hang out, ride motorcycles, spend time with family, and just to have fun! The desert is such a beautiful place and we love going out there! Here are some fun pix:

There's a zip line that Brent put in that is tons of fun! You have to go upstairs and harness up, then hold on and zip down goin really fast! This is a picture of our friends/family down below us when we were zip lining. The only thing is that you have to slow yourself down with your feet and hold on or you'll have a gnarly crash :)

Max has an absolute obsession/love for motorcycles. He even enjoys taking Hudson's pit-bike out and hitting some jumps. These couple of pictures actually look pretty cool of him getting some big air!

Max and I had such a fun night! He kinda surprised me with some tickets to one of my favorite country singers ever, which is Jo Dee Messina. She had a small concert at the Mesa Arts Center and it was probably the funnest concerts I've been to. There were only about 30 rows of people there, and we were pretty close! She did really informal concert where she just picked people in the audience to request songs and ask questions. That night was a night to remember, I had tons of fun with my love! Thanks Max.

For Thanksgiving this year Max and I went out to his Parent's land out in Florence and it was so much fun! Brent and Jeanne have done so much out there to make it so homey and full of things to do all the time. This is awesome, this is a tree stump that's grows out of a spring of water. So it's full of water all the time, and if you splash some out it will fill right back up within 30 seconds! Run From the Sun!!

Since July of this year I've been working for Dr. Allen, who was the president of putting on this race of "Run From the Sun." The whole purpose of this event was to help raise money to cure skin cancer and the whole event turned out great! On Friday Nov. 13th we had an expo with many vendors and runner's coming to pick up their packets. Then on Saturday the 14th it was the big race! We ended up having 619 runners! It was a great success and so much fun!

I'll tell you what, not many women in this world are as lucky/blessed as I am to have such a wonderful man of my dreams to be married to. Every single day Max does things that just make me feel so lucky. So I wanted to share 10 things about him that I LOVE:

1. Max is always willing to help me (especially with dishes & house stuff) in order to lighten my load.

2. He has a stunning smile and is such a handsome devil!!! I just love him.

3. Max is always trying to be different, I love it. It makes life fun and unique and nothing ever gets old with him.

CAMPIN' TRIP!!!

Max is a HUGE lover of dirt bikes. He has been wanting one so bad since the day he got home from his mission. So we talked and talked about it and finally decided that we can both get one and go riding together! It will be such a great opportunity to go out and spend time making fun memories. Well Max and I had the BEST weekend together a few weekends ago. We had this idea to go up by Forrest Lakes and camp with both our bikes, Marley, a tent, his truck, and a dutch oven. We went from Thursday to Saturday and had a blast! I only fell a couple times learning to ride my bike, Marley hunted down some huge elk, coyotes and elk were near by making a ruckus every night, and some awesome dutch oven food (including peach cobler!) Alright here are the bridal pictures from a couple weeks ago :) About this first one, our photographer was so awesome. She hid me behind a pole before Max saw me, then brought him out and turned him around. I snuck up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder and she got it all on camera, it was so fun! Alright so I know I've been HORRIBLE at blogging lately but I have a fabulous excuse....I've been doing some crazy wedding planning! Max and I got engaged a few weeks ago, even though we've been planning on it for a while, and now we are getting married on September 1st! We are so so excited!!

So let me tell you about the engagement; I got to pick out the ring and I knew Max had the ring. So I bugged him like crazy cuz waiting for that thing was SO HARD. But on the next Saturday he just told me to be patient, so I tried. He had me convinced that we were going to the temple to check it out and walk around. So we went into the visitor's center and looked around and started walking around outside. Then we sat down on the petrified wood bench and he fiddled around quite a bit, and I started thinking something. He asked me to stand up and told me he wouldn't make me wait any longer. He said some of the nicest things ever and had me in tears! Then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him & of course i said YES. He did it in a very cute way...I'm the luckiest girl alive to be able to be with such a fun ravishing guy forever. And I thank him for putting up with my bugging him about the ring so much. I LOVE u Max!!!

He's HOME he's HOME he's HOME!! Friday June 19th was the best day ever because the love of my life finally returned from the Florianopolis Brazil mission. I can't even begin to describe how much fun it has been and how awesome it's been to have Max here. He has changed in great ways, but is still the same fun awesome max that I sure do love!

This past weekend I had SUCH a fun time in Utah visiting my AWESOME roommates from BYU-Hawaii. These two girls made my Hawaii experience the time of my life. Let's just say my mother was a BIT worried about the BEDBUGS!! The night I got home from hawaii (let me remind you I didn't get home until about one in the morning) my mom insisted to lay out EVERYTHING I brought home so we could fumigate it. The next couple of days was constant laundry laundry laundry! But I guess it's worth it. She even brought out a towel into the garage and says, "Here strip down." I was like, "Mom are you serious?" And yes she was serious...I had to take off the very clothing I was wearing before I could go inside the house. Oh how mothers take care of things :) I love her.

Oh my....all the things I brought home :) Three pieces of luggage, one duffle bag carry-on, a big purse, and a backpack of my guitar and ukulele later I finally got it all home!!!

KONA TRIP!!!!

Ok this whole post is from our trip to Kona, the Big Island. It was such a FUN trip!!! We went from thursday morning to Sunday morning with 11 of us. There were SO many funny hilarious moments and we did so many fun things!! The pictures are all out of order so you'll have to go through and read them but they're a lot of fun! This picture below is a picture of the front view of the house we were staying in, it was awesome!! ENJOY!!!

These are some gnarly waves at the beach in Kona that were huge and fun!!

This was an AWESOME part of Kona, we drove in the Uhaul for about 2 hours and then walked across a field for like 2.5 miles to this Green Sand Beach. The green sand even sparkled!! I got burried in it too it was great.

This is a giant blow hole that brave people jump into...unfortunately I was not one of these people, but the next one I was!!!

This is a cliff some of us jumped off of, it looks like it falls off the edge of the earth. It was about 35 feet up and YES I did it. It was crazy because after we jumped there was a big rusted latter that swung in the wind that you had to climb up to get back up. And when we went home after this the people whose house we were staying at told us they've been over there a couple times when sharks were down there swimming so they didn't jump! CRAZY!!

Someone snagged this GROSS picture of me here, I was head-butting the soccerball back into the Uhaul truck and somehow my friend Robin got the perfect picture of it....ARG!!!

Here are a couple pictures of the house we stayed in. It was super nice and the family that let us stay there are very nice people and were so generous in letting us stay there. It was great!

Yes that is me in the middle dominating at head stands!!! Haha i beat everyone until someone decided to cheat and throw sand at my butt...so Zach barely beat me but it was cheap!!

Here is a tunnel cave thing that goes on forever that we walked through. They form from volcanoes and lava that explode....long time ago!

This is all of us walking through a tunnel cave thing that was formed from the volcanoes many years ago. Shad (in the yellow) was throwing big boulders and I decided to try and beat him....not a good idea. I picked a huge one up and slice up both thumbs and was bleeding everywhere it was great :(

ON OUR WAY!!! We all had super early flight that morning, some of us departed at 5:55 AM and some departed at 7 AM, but we all road together so it was a morning full of airport waiting. It was a lot of fun, this is Shad and Kelsey smiling for the camera.

KONA ARRIVAL!!! This is when we all finally met up at the airport there, we were so excited and Shad's big hand is totally in the way that nub!

Here we are right after we left the airport at the Uhaul place trying to decide what we want to rent for the weekend. To rent a Uhaul it was a flat fee for the weekend and then charged a certain amount per mile. That compared to two rental cars for the weekend was much cheaper! It ended up being about $28 bucks a person so it was great! We all just loaded up in the back of a uhaul while Shad was up front driving, slamming on the breaks as much as possible, and driving on the continuous bumps along the side of the road to make it as load as possible in the back! It was pretty funny with us all flying around in the back there. One time I was sitting towards the front of the Uhaul and Zach (one of our friends) was sitting on the cooler. Shad thought it would be hilarious to hit the breaks again so Zach goes flying and lands right on me, I caught him....haha it was pretty funny.

Thanks to our great guy friends we had the opportunity to go to the Kona temple and do baptisms for the dead. Between 11 of us we did 400+ names! It was so fun, from left to right its Robin, Kimmaree, Allie, Hailey, Janelle, and Kelsey. Love these girls!!

These are the biggest snowcones ever!! We shared this huge thing with 4 girls, with icecream in the bottom, and sweet and condensed milk ontop....SO YUM!!!

FREAKIN SICK BED BUGS!!!!

GROSS!!! Yes these are our little nasty digusting freakin bed bugs that are infested inside all 3 of our mattresses. Hailey my roomie was sleeping and saw a bunch of speckles of dirt....to our surprise they were not dirt specks...they were all BED BUGS!!! So she screams and i go in there and we pull off all of our sheets and everything and find these patches of them! There were hundreds of them! So we finally found where our blood spots on our pillows and sheets have been coming from, SO GROSS!!

Now all three of us have been sleeping on the hard wood floor next to the kitchen the last couple night, and i'm thinking thats where we will be for the rest of the semester because our landlord won't do much about it. We are all grossed out!

On my way to do the craziest thing ever.....

YA BABY!! This is our skydiving adventure, it was the funnest most crazy wildest thing i've ever done!! And I'd do it in a heart beat again, only if it was free though :) But if you haven't done it yet, hawaii is the place to go and do it it's amazing! We went in a group of about 14 people and we all made it out safely and alive. Nothing to worry about right?!

Me and my instructor dude named HERB!! He was kinda a crazy, he told us how he thought mormons had many wives he was kinda weird. But it was fun!!

These girls are so so fun, to be honest they almost didn't come but I talked them into it because this is the "Semester of Yes" Let me explain, this semester might be all of our last semester out here so we decided that any opportunity that comes up we have to say YES!!! So now this is our semester of YES!!

This is the tiny plane we were scrunched in. Just to inform you how awkward this situation could possibly be, each person (girl) is sitting in front of the instructors (boys) and are strapped tightly to them so we don't die. Well I was the lucky one to be on the very end of the bench and with the force of the plane pushing everyone down towards me I was totally falling off the bench trying my hardest to hold everyone back from squishing me. Finally my instructor guy noticed and pulls me up even closer to him (ok awkward) and I just try to sit and ignore it and enjoy the view.

I think this one is me, oh well. The last thing the instructor told us to do is when we land to lift up your feet as much as possible so they could land ok and standing up. Just so you know me and my trainer guy landed perfectly!

This is the black sand beach we went to called "Waipio Valley" it was way cool cuz the sand was totally black, it looked like real smashed up oreos. And it didn't even get ur clothes dirty at all. I learned how to skim board here it was fun!

So Hailey, my house mate, and I were sitting in the back of the truck making sandwiches and out of no where she goes, "OH A BIRD JUST SHIZZED ON ME!! IT'S WARM!!" hahaha we laughed so hard and took pictures real quick before she wiped it off.

Ok so this is my hospital adventure that I never want to have to go through again!! I had a kidney stone this past monday night that I roughed through and it passed but it hurt real bad; worst pain I've ever been in. People say that I know I can have babies now because that's how bad it gets! Luckily I have awesome house mates and they insisted on taking me to the hospital. I didn't want to go but after an hour of the horrible pain my friend's dad that's an anesthesiologist told us to go because it was something to do with kidneys. So we got there and they took two urine samples, took my blood, put an IV in, and took a cat scan. We waited for about two and a half hours and they finally came back with the results that I had passed a kidney stone and I have cysts on my ovaries. Luckily it's not a serious thing so they didn't have to do anything about it but I was glad to be home at 1am that morning with out that pain in my lower right back side!!

I took this on my sweet camera that I LOVE especially for Hawaii. I thought it was cute!!

Ok this one's for Mom cuz she wanted to see my hair color. I had my friend's mom thats done hair for 30 years do it and it turned out real good!! She cut off 2.5 inches and you cant see the ends but its pretty short!! I like it though, I think I'm gonna keep goin short, we'll see though.

HAHA here's a story for you. So this kid is TJ and he pretty much has a replicated copy of Colby's personality SERIOUSLY!! Its so funny he's just goofy and funny just like Colb is it makes me laugh so much. So we went to Hukilua Beach Saturday and TJ jumps ahead of everyone and grabs my boogie board and runs into the water. Within 20 seconds he comes out throwing the board on the ground and grumbling words under his breath, the wave TOTALLY took him out and slammed his face into the sand giving him a big bloody nose!!! He was so mad but he's such a happy person it just made us all laugh. And about 5 minutes later he reaches into his pocket and realized that his phone had been in his pocket the whole time....totally ruined!!! OOPS!!!

Yes i did do this, who knows why but i did. Haha so we had like 8 people over on Saturday night and were sitting around the table discussing how this is possible. Some people didn't believe me so sure enough we whip out the spaghetti noodles and I tried like 4 times and couldn't get it. So finally when everyone left I tried like 3 more times and got it!!! I posted a video of it on facebook and within 24 hours 17 people commented on it like "SICK!" and "EWW...ONLY YOU ALLIE" it was so awesome!!! :) Scroll down to the bottom I put the video on here but can't bring it up, don't be too grossed out!!!

Ou basketball team is AMAZING this year. The first game they played New Zealand and absolutely dominated them 121 to 58. And every time the team scores over 100 points all the BYUH fans get a free ice cream cone, so we all did!!! It was so much fun! (yes i did take that picture)

This was so fun, for Halloween the Polynesian Cultural Center put on a Haunted Canoe ride through the river they have inside. It was SO scary and so good. We started with just kelsey and I in line and ended up with seriously like 30 of our friends in line with us. It was CrAzY!!

We were asked to do a musical number at a musical fireside so from left to right Kara played guitar, Jocelyn sang melody, Kelsey sang harmony, and I played my violin and it turned out really nice!!

PIZZA MAKING!!! Cooking with the roomies, that's Hailey on the left and Kathy and me. It was sad cuz Kathy just moved out all her stuff because she's getting married Friday!! We're gonna miss her lots.

WE ARE CHEF'S!!! Home-made pizza...probably one of the best meals ever in college. It was so delicious we made a veggie one and a barbecue chicken one, they were the best pizza I've ever had. We should totally sell them!!

This amazing treat is called a Halo and you get it at Angel's Ice Cream Shop right by foodland (the grocery store) Yes it is about the size of a volleyball and yes we did eat the WHOLE thing. They put icecream in the bottom of this and top it off with sweet and condensed milk!! YUM!!

This picture is RAD, we went on a bike ride to Ted's Bakery and it was an adventure!! But as the sun was going down we stopped and took these and it just outlined our silhouettes it was cool!

This girly is one of my good friends, on the left, her name is Kami Strait from Colorado and she's amazing at soccer!!! BYU Hawaii just won the Conference this past week so they're flying to Washington and might be there for two weeks depending on how well they do it's so fun!!

Ok so you all know how dumb I am at singing and I have this weird fear of singing in front of people. My friend had a 'Lady's Night Open Mic' so any GIRLS can go up and sing whatever, so my roomie kelsey and I did 'I Can Only Imagine' and it was super fun...until they did an oncor and I sang one BY MYSELF!!! So scary but so fun, I did Jack Johnson's 'Wrong Turn' It was a fun fun night!!

I LOVE HAWAII!!! So the only thing that could really make it better here (besides Max of course) is the company of my family! And this past week Mom & Dad & Lacey came out to visit me and we had a blast!!! We ate tons and tons of food as usual on vacation and did lots of fun stuff. Too bad the rain was bad here this week otherwise we could have gotten more stuff in but it was still a blast! Thanks Mom and Dad for coming to play with me and allowing me this life-changing experience of college in Hawaii, i really appreciate it. LOVE YOU!!!

This is the famous "Shrimp Shack," there's like 5 different ones but this one is the best. It's called Giovannie's. We only came here only once believe it or not but it was amazing shrimp!

If you take a close look at lacey's arm it might looked nastily diseased, but really she got about 32 mosquito bites on ONE ARM!! They left a window open one night that didn't have a screen on it....oops!! So the lady that rents out the house was like "AAHHHH I"M SO SORRY" she went right away to get some bug bombs to kill them all. It was crazy!!

Here's the beach that the TV series "Lost" was/is filmed. Its so pretty over here and it's kinda hidden, you gotta walk to it but its awesome!! One time I touched a sea turtle here it was rad.

There are these hanging vines from the trees that are fun to play around on. You can swing from them so I was pushing Lacey around. You shoulda seen mom trying too it was good.

Ok this is the tree from "Lost" that is famous and its gynormous!! Fun though!!

Cabela Bay is what it's called, this is so awesome!!!

These little guys are everywhere on the sidewalks, they are snails for those of you who don't know. They're nasty and so are the slugs that are everywhere!!

Apparently dad has some problem with the sun on the back of his knees, he got some gnarly sunburns back there! Kinda like his feet they do the same thing when they see the sun. haha

Here we are sitting at my house, that surf board in the background is what this local kid gave our house for free!!! Dad looks like he's a little handicap (wink wink) and all of us got burned that day!!

Here's mother at Ted's Bakery, the most delicious place ever. We ate here about 6 times while they visited and it's amazing. Things like crab & bacon sandwhich, shrimp sandwich with guava butter sauce, Chocolate Haupia (coconut) pie, and Coconut danish!!! SO YUMMY!!

These two could never switch over on Hawaii time, still on AZ time!! So when they passed out asleep mom & I would just stay up and play games...checkers that she killed me at!!!

Dad's favorite car to ride in!! haha here's the rental car, you know how much dad loves little cars. It was funny.

Here's the vacation rental house they stayed in. The upstairs left section of the house was there's and it turned out to be real nice, minus the mosquito problem!!

This was an adventure to capture a picture of the fam without the wind blowing our hair straight back so we look bald, or all forward so it looks like we just got shocked. We finally got one Saturday morning before they left to the airport and just before we got our last acai bowl of the trip. My house mate Kelsey is so awesome, she came along with us and took a bunch for us.

Ok while they were visiting we went to the ACAI BOWL place about 23 times, not even joking!!! They are so incredibly good!!! My favorite was when dad ordered one and said he wanted double of all the toppings and the lady was like, "Extra Everything??" and he's like YEP!! haha thats the best was to do it!!

Ok so one night after the fam left, when like 15 people were over I somehow talked everyone into playing the game "Measuring For Coffins" so we got every single one of them!!! HAHA it was so perfect and i laughed my head off, most people laughed it off but a few thought it was dumb. SO FUNNY!! We even got to the point of putting in the water first, then dumbing it. Oh you shoulda seen the reactions!! ha look at that guys pants!!

HAHA This one was bad, it made me laugh so hard I LOVE IT!!

ME AND MY BIKE!!! I love this thing it gets me around everywhere to foodland and school and FUN! Notice the cute basket and I also have a horn on it too. When i'm riding it around and people are in the way I give it a little toot toot and they turn around laughing. I just smile and say SORRY!! Its pretty fun!

HUKILAU BEACH!! I'm on the phone talking to mom in this picture but that was a good fun day!!

K you can't see it very well but I got destroyed by blue bubbles and got stung like 7 times!! It hurt so bad and it ached in my lymphnodes in my armpits cuz supposedly thats where it filters out. It goes away after like 8-10 hours or so but its not pleasant.

This was awesome, k our friend in the middle is named Mike and he got baptized a few saturdays ago in the ocean!! There's a beach right in front of the temple called "Temple Beach" where they do all the baptisms in Laie it was so cool to see!

This is my favorite beach to surf at cuz the waves are still big but not too powerful. Its where you can learn the best and i love it!! It's called "Castles"

If you ever come visit me, we must go to this place cuz they have the best shaved ice in the whole world!

BEST shaved ice ever!! In the bottom there's ice cream & lots of flavor! It makes a big mess but its so yummy and worth it!!

This goofy canadian was with us when we all caught frogs, unfortunately its the only frog picture i took but thats our frog box!! We caught like 30 frogs and put them in our friends bath tub!!! SO FUNNY!! After we did it we sat outside and heard OH MY GOSH!!! I almost peed my pants!!

These are my FUN AWESOME friends, from left to right its Me Kelly Kara Marie. We have lots of laughs and funny times together. They live in the same house but the front section of it so I see them a lot.

This is the picture of the bike that I used to put on craigslist for free!!! It actually was a hilarious prank that I played on two of my friends. One kid went to the temple one morning and came out with 24 missed calls and 17 new voicemails from people who wanted it!! haha

This is the funniest thing that has happened yet, and yes i peed my pants when it happened. So me and my 4 friends were walking home and catching frogs when these two guy friends of ours offered to take us home cuz they live next door. Of course we say YES and I tell my friend Marie to grab a frog to put in their car. She pretends to "look for her necklace" and finds one and sticks it inside her purse. We get in the car and she pulls it out and puts it on Bobby's shoulder, he screams and freaks out and the frog jumps down by the AC vent. The other guy Denis almost jumps out the window and gets outa the car. They both screamed like little girls and yes these are actual pictures from this ridiculous event. SO HILARIOUS!!!

Ok right here is my home, and i love it. Its called the "Bridgehouse" and is the NICEST girl's off-campus housing. I'm unit A which is in the back and upstairs. My window is up & to the right and I have an ocean view!! I also was lucky enough to get a private room, thanks to mom and dad, and I love all my roommates its way fun!!

This is the Laie, Hawaii temple that I get to ride my back past every single day for school. It's so awesome and beautiful isn't it?! I just love it.

Yes this is real, I took it on my camera standing outside our hotel. SO PRETTY!!!

We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center on one of the days and it was awesome. We went around to each 30 minute show where each island did their own cultural dance and music. There were 7 of them, I wanted to work here and be a dancer girl too but I'm white and they only want brown people.

This is the canoe show during the day at the PCC, each island was on a different canoe and they'd do their dance according to the culture. It was fun to watch!

Mom made sure she sat in her special section every time we went to a show. Haha no just kidding, its because we pushed grandma around in her wheelchair everywhere so we got the front row seats and right to the front of the lines it was pretty sweet!! Mom and I would push grandma so fast and launch her off ramps in that thing it was rad.

No joke 95% of the people at the PCC were some form of asian, korean, chinese, japanese, vietnamese, etc. Take a look for yourself.

Our trip to the dole plantation! You can't come to Oahu without stopping here. They have the best most fabulous pineapple icecream ever!!

Us three generations on the little yellow train that took us all around the dole plantation. It was fun cuz it told us all about growing pineapples, it takes 15-20 months to grow one!!!

That's just me playing the ukulele, obviously being over here in Hawaii I've been eating a little too much. The fruit is just way too good!

We drove into town to go see the Pearl Harbor sites, it did take us about 2 hours to find it when normally if we were remotely good at directions it should take about 45 minutes! But we finally found it and made it before the very last fairy boat went out to the memorial site.

This is the memorial for USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor. They said 1,177 men died when it sunk. I dunno why it had to be Arizona though, I love Arizona!

Relatives??? Probably not.

This was way cool because the memorial site was a dock that we had to take a boat to get to. It was a white room thing that was standing over the original USS Arizona that sunk. So This picture is the actual boat that sunk in WWII.

These are all the names of the men who died. It was actually a pretty spiritual experience, everyone was told to be quiet and just watch. It was really cool.

Ok, pretty much the most fabulous food around is at Ted's Bakery. We ate there about oh...6 times!! Its so good, they had all kinds of crazy hawaiian pasteries like macadamia nut pie, coconut cream pie, coconut danish, pineapple cheesecake!!! Can you see why we kept going back?!

This is the famous Chocolate Haupia (cocnut) pie, its to die for delicious!! While mom & grandma were here we probable ate two whole pies cuz we'd go back and eat at Ted's Bakery like every other day. G-ma was hooked on the Chocolate Eclairs that were as big as the palm of my hand. We probably ate about 10 of those too. Yum!
